Tipperary Excel Art Gallery hosts “Anamnesia” an exhibition by Marian Richardson until 6th January 2016.Using mixed- media, Marian Richardson’s work takes an observational approach to the interrelationship between transitions and memories. As one stage of life ends and another begins reminiscence is heightened, calling on us to look back on the places and experiences we have left behind. Yet nostalgia can cloud and complicate memory, focusing on, or disregarding what was previously familiar. Providing a semi-autobiographical commentary on notions of belonging, her thematically 
interconnected work focuses on private recollections within public spaces, projections of memory within an evolving present. She has exhibited in Ireland and the United Arab Emirates. Her work is in public and private collections in Ireland and private collections in England, Canada, the Netherlands and the United Arab Emirates. Opening hours are Monday Friday 10.00am –5.00pm. During Art Exhibitions all are welcome and admission is FREE.
