Information evenings will be taking place on Energy Efficiency Grants for SMEs and Community Groups on 14th December in Cahir and 16th December in Nenagh.

 

Energy efficiency grant aid is available:
• Up to 50% funding to community groups – community halls, resource centres, charity facilities, GAA clubs etc
• Up to 30% funding for private sector – SMEs, large commercial buildings, private nursing homes and hotels

Better Energy Communities 2016

Better Energy Communities is an Energy Efficiency Grant Scheme available through the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) and administered by Tipperary Energy Agency in partnership with NTLP (North Tipperary Leader Project)
Energy efficiency grant aid is available:
• Up to 50% funding to community groups – community halls, resource centres, charity facilities, GAA clubs etc
• Up to 30% funding for private sector – SMEs, large commercial buildings, private nursing homes and hotels
Examples of the measures which are eligible for grant aid are:
• Boiler Upgrades
• Insulation Upgrades
• Lighting Upgrades
• Renewable Energy
• Heating Upgrades
• Window / door upgrades
• Motor / compressor replacements
Tipperary Energy Agency has vast experience in successfully delivering projects under this scheme. In 2015 alone we have worked on over 20 projects. Our recent work includes projects in primary schools, leisure centres, community & resource centres, libraries, a business park, and a church.
