16 days seminar- December 1st Supporting Vulnerable Adults under new guidelines

Ascend Domestic Abuse Service are asking the men and women of North Tipperary to take action against Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence, call the Gardaí if someone they know is in danger. Community action will make life safer for women and children in our county.

 

No booking is necessary and the events are free of charge.

 

December 1st             Supporting Vulnerable Adults under new guidelines

 

Speakers: 

 

Sergeant Tony Wells has an MSc in Criminal Justice studies from the University of Portsmouth.  He is the Sergeant in charge of the legal and policy section of the Garda College for the last 6 years.  His current role is the HSE Liaison Manager for North Tipperary and the HSE based in Nenagh.

 

Tim Hanly has a particular interest in the foster care and after care areas and has played a key role in developing practice and policy within the HSE and Tusla in these areas. Tim has recently commenced a new position as Principal Social Worker in HSE National Safeguarding Office and he will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons at Risk of Abuse policy.
