Dundrum Craft Food Fair
This year’s Fair, which takes place on the October Bank Holiday Sunday, 25th October, in the Scouts Hall, Dundrum, is destined to live up to or surpass the standards of the past. Some new and interesting ideas will be on display as well as the old reliables. We will have displays of woodwork, beekeeping, ceramics (new), Sean O’Brien’s woodturning demonstrations, which are always very popular as is Jerry Ryan’s display on all aspects of beekeeping. Food and jewellery are not forgotten either with stands catering from the exotic to the ordinary. Jams and sausages are a usual feature, as is knitting and woolwork.
The committee would like to hear from new people interested in crafts and food. A few places are still available and can be booked. Ring Michael Carew at 062-71187 for entry forms. The fee at €20 is nominal As usual, tea and coffee will be available from the Hospice Staff to enable you to relax while you savour the ambience of the massive Scouts Hall. The show starts at 1pm and continues until 5pm.
