Multiple Sclerosis Ireland encourages people from Tipperary to take part in Skydive 2015 on 10th October in Edenderry, Co. Offaly

Multiple Sclerosis Ireland is encouraging thrill-seekers from Tipperary to take part in Skydive 2015 on the Saturday 10th October at the Irish Parachute Club, Edenderry, Co. Offaly to raise funds in support of services for people with multiple sclerosis.

Participants will take part in a tandem jump on the day where they will be attached to an expert from the Irish Parachute Club. They will jump from the plane at 10,000 feet, free fall for 30 seconds reaching 200km per hour and at 5,000 feet will open the two-man parachute giving them a chance to steer themselves to the landing zone.

Money raised will help MS Ireland to:

  • Provide one-to-one support at the newly diagnosed sessions through our Regional Community Workers from our ten offices throughout the country.
  • Operate the Information Line to provide one-to-one professional support to people with MS.
  • Deliver supportive regional services including physiotherapy and symptom management programmes.
