Fr. Peter McVerry To Give Talk In Nenagh Scouts Hall
The North Tipperary Community Cluster, supported by Aras Follain Mid-West Regional Drugs and Alcohol Forum and the North Tipperary Mental Health Team are hosting a talk by Fr. Peter McVerry who is the Founder of the Peter McVerry Trust which has experience of over 40 years of working with young, vulnerable, homeless people.
The talk will take place in the Scouts Hall, Nenagh at 11am on Monday, 12th October 2015. This will be followed by tea and coffee and an oportunity to network.
“In a community that loves one another, there should be no-one poor, (unless all are poor); there should be no-one homeless, no-one lonely, no-one sick or alone without visitors, no-one in prison who has been abandoned and written off, there should be no-one rejected or marginalized.”
