HORSE AND JOCKEY SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP LAUNCH

The Horse and Jockey Senior Club Championship was recently launched in the Horse and Jockey Hotel with the Senior Clubs present on the night. As the Tipperary Intermediate team have completed their games for this year the clubs have commenced the Championship with a number of games already played. Best wishes to all clubs competing in the Championship.

JIM KENNEDY, TIPPERARY LADIES FOOTBALL PRESIDENT

At the Horse and Jockey Senior Championship Launch, Tipperary Ladies Football Chairperson, Biddy Ryan presented the Tipperary Ladies Football President, Jim Kennedy with his Presidential Medal. Jim Kennedy was the first President of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association while also, holding the position of Tipperary Ladies Football Chairperson and Team Manager. In attendance with Jim was his daughters; Dolores, Ann and Martina.

DEVELOPMENT SQUADS FOR UNDER 12 AND UNDER 13

Tipperary Ladies Football are hosting development squads for Under 12 and Under 13 players interested in developing their Ladies Football skills. The opening squad session will be held on Saturday, August 15th in Duneske, Cahir and it is hoped that the following sessions will be held in Rockwell College. In Duneske all players will be registered, do some skills assessments and it will conclude with blitz games. More details are available on www.tipperaryladiesfootball.ie

EXHIBITION GAMES ON ALL IRELAND DAY

The Ladies Gaelic Football Association are delighted to announce that the application process to participate in the Exhibition Games on All-Ireland Finals Day, on Sunday 27th September, in Croke Park is now OPEN. This is a fantastic opportunity for our clubs to be a part of the biggest day in the Ladies Gaelic Football Association Calendar and to play on the hallow turf of Croke Park.
