“Come Dine With Me” For Ascend Domestic Abuse Service
Ascend Domestic Abuse Service for Women hosted by NTLP and based out of Roscrea invites you to come dine with us at a ‘Come Dine with Me’ evening on October 16th 2015 at 6.30pm at the Cosy Kitchen, Roscrea (behind Bernie’s Supervalu). This event offers a chance to socialise, enjoy a nice meal and learn more about this valuable service which offers confidential supports to women who have or are experiencing domestic abuse in their intimate relationships. Services we offer include one to one support, a helpline, court accompaniment, information and outreach and is available throughout North Tipperary.
Awareness raising campaigns and programmes highlighting the issue of domestic abuse and the existence of our Service are run across the county, challenging the men and women of Tipperary to change our response to Domestic Abuse. If we all take action in our own communities to make Domestic Abuse unacceptable we can collectively make life safer for women and children in our county.
Tickets for this event are €20 and proceeds will go to Ascend. There will be a raffle on the night with a wide variety of exciting prizes to be won. Ascend would like to thank the Management and Staff of the Cosy Kitchen, Roscrea for their generosity in hosting and supporting this event and Bernie’s Supervalu, Tesco Roscrea, andTemplemore College, for their generosity, donations and support to Ascend during the year.
