Ballywilliam speed limit to be reviewed

Councillor Jackie Cahill, Chairman of the SPC on roads for County Tipperary, has asked for a review of the current speed limit at Ballywilliam, Nenagh. Cahill said “Following a number of queries, I am pleased to confirm that a review has begun in to the current speed limit at Ballywilliam, looking to change the speed limit from its current 80km to 100km”

On Tuesday last May 5th, Jackie Cahill, a former president of the ICMSA (Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association) for 6 years, was selected unanimously to stand as a candidate in the Fianna Fail Tipperary Selection Convention at the Eamon and Sinead de Valera Fianna Fail Thurles Cumann meeting. Jackie, who was proposed by Councillor Seamus Hanafin and seconded by Lorraine O’Keeffe said “I am delighted to be selected to run for convention. Many thanks to the local Thurles Cuman for the nomination and I look forward to the contest with enthusiasm”.
