The U15 boy’s rugby team togged out on Friday to play a tough game against Cashel in Tipp Town. In frosty conditions, St. Josephs Collage Borrisoleigh, unfortunately had to accept defeat, at a loss of 42 to 49 points. Better luck next time lads!

Our Transition Year group has completed a 6 week training regime in Crossfit. Crossfit is a high-intensity interval training, which was coached by Colin and Luke, from Clonmel. Our Transition year group excelled very well in their fitness levels and found it to be an enjoyable experience.
IAMTA Quiz
Our students took part in the IAMTA Quiz which took place in Kilkenny College, in the Swift Building, on Wednesday the 21st. The quiz was based around Applied Maths. Our students did very well and finished third overall, after many intense rounds. Well done to Rachel, John, Michael and Aaron.
Senior Hurlers
Hard luck to our senior hurlers, who narrowly lost to SMGS Blarney, by a margin of 0-7 to 0-6. In terrible conditions the lads fought bravely but couldn’t overcome their opposition. We wish them all well with their clubs and county.

Fionnbar discussed Donal’s Anti-Suicide campaign with all the students. We would like to thank Fionnbar for coming to talk to us. It was really an eye opening experience.
