Course and Career Information Evening at WIT
Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) is holding an Information Evening for anyone considering studying on a full-time or part-time course at the Institute. The event will take place on the main campus on Tuesday, 24 February from 6.00 – 7.30pm. The Institute offers people the opportunity to access higher education in a variety of ways, depending on each person’s personal experience, goals and situation. Prospective students can choose from more than 200 full-time undergraduate, part-time undergraduate and taught postgraduate study options as well as government funded ICT and Springboard courses. For those who would like to ease their way into higher education, there are a number of options available, including the WIT Summer School, foundation courses and a range of professional development study options. The Information Evening is open to anyone considering studying at the Institute and attendees will be able to meet with academic staff to discuss future study and career options. Administration staff, as well as representatives from the Department of Social Protection and Waterford Chamber’s Skillnet, will be available to discuss funding, fees and grants, student supports, admissions as well as giving advice on how to apply. This information event is free and open to all. There is no need to register in advance.
