Enable Ireland Clonmel Appeal for Donations
Enable Ireland’s charity shop in Clonmel is appealing for donations of quality women, mens and children’s clothing, bric-a-brac, accessories, toys, books and DVD’s.
The shop, which is located on Mary Street, has seen a 20% drop in donations over the past number of weeks due to the busy Christmas period and ongoing competition from Cash for Clothes outlets.
The public are also asked to consider donating unwanted Christmas gifts after the holiday period.
Shop Manager, Marion Nuggent, says that all donations are gratefull recieved, ‘This time of year can be difficult for us as people get so distracted by Christmas preperations that they don’t have time to clear out and donate so we’re encouraging the public to consider doing just a mini clear out, make way for the new stuff and donate a bag of unwanted items to us. Any questions – call me in Mary Street, Clonmel on (052) 6126202. ”
Profits made from the sale of previously loved items support the work of Enable Ireland – providing services to children and adults with disabilities.
