Sunday Strolling for all with Mid-Tipp Hillwalkers
Pictures shows a group photo taken in Durrow on a beautiful autumnal morning before 24 participants set on the first of Mid-Tipp Hillwalkers series of Sunday strolls around the hugely varied and scenic Leafy Loop in Durrow on Sunday last. Afterwards over coffee and lscones in the Castle Arms Hotel everyone wanted to know when the next stroll is. The answer is that the next Sunday stroll takes place on Oct 26 and will follow the riverbank walk from Golden to Cashel. Meet Slievemanon Road Carpark, Thurles at 10am or Golden Village at 10.30am. All comers including new walkers most welcome. Boots are the best footwear for this walk and also bring a rain jacket just in case.
