Tipp are Back Again- The Video- by Boris O’Kane and the Sportsmen Showband
Boris O’ Kane , the Tipperary Musician who many say is Tipperary’s most obsessive fan is releasing his first single “Tipp are Back Again” on his own record lable “Hon the Premier” records.
The Bodhran Player who hails from just outside Borrisokane County Tipp has assembled a bunch of musical friends, (the Sportsmen, Showband) to record his tribute to Tipp.
Boris who recently christened his first son “Bubbles Corbett O’Kane” has over 50 portraits of famous Tipp hurlers throughout his house. “I send photographs to an artist in Brazil and he paints them for me. My favourite is Nicky English, it it a four foot by four foot portrait of Nicky and it hangs proudly in the hall alongside John Leahy”.
Boris has commissioned a portrait of Brendan Maher and it will be delivered to him the Friday before the All Ireland..
