Culture Night comprises of hundreds of events across Ireland and overseas. From our nation’s capital to all county towns, everyone’s taking part. The Source Arts Centre will open their doors until late with free events and performances for you, your family and friends to enjoy. So get involved!

Drop in art and craft sessions for children and their parents/guardians. Work side by side with your Daddy, Granny or Aunty to create something special to bring home with you.

As a follow up to a Theatre Residency Weekend with Fishamble: The New Play Company in April of this year, The Source hosts an informal public sharing of short plays developed by attendees at Gavin Kostick’s Playwriting Workshop. The playwrights, some local and some from further afield, will read the plays. The evening will also feature two short films by Thurles natives. ‘Workspace’ by Eamonn B Shanahan and ‘The Source’ by David O’Grady and John O’Dwyer. Followed by live music in The Source Bar.
