Tipperary’s Top MATHletes announced
The following students have been named the top MATHletes in Tipperary in their respective class, having triumphed over their fellow competitors at the MATHletes Challenge Provincial finals which took place on the second weekend in May.

150 winners and qualifiers from the 300 students who competed at the MATHletes Challenge Provincial finals, representing 38 primary and 31 secondary schools from around the country, will now go onto to compete against each for the title of MATHletes Challenge National Champion on the 24th May 2014, aswell as over €20,000 in prizes.
Since MATHletes was launched in early February, over 3,000 students and 250 teachers have taken part in this unique national maths competition which uses the Khan Academy method of learning and teaching maths.
