Pieta House Public Meeting in Birr

Pieta House, the suicide and self-harm crisis centre, will hold a public meeting in Birr on Thursday, 27th February at 7.30pm in Dooly’s Hotel. Joan Freeman, founder and CEO of Pieta House, will address the crowd on the night. The purpose of the meeting is to inform the public of the services Pieta House provides at its centre in Roscrea which opened last year.

Pieta House Roscrea provides a professional, one-to-one therapeutic service for those who are experiencing suicidal ideation, those who have attempted suicide, and those who are engaging in self-harm. A doctor’s referral or a psychiatric report is not required and the service is completely free of charge.

The meeting is open to the general public and Pieta House would especially like to encourage representatives from local organisations, clubs, schools and workplaces to attend.
