Comedian Bernard O’Shea – The Source Arts Centre Thurles
He’s always on the telly. He co-presented The New Comedy Awards with Jennifer Maguire. He also did some stand up on The Liffey Laughs and Just for Laughs on RTE back in the noughties. And now, fresh from weekly humiliation on RTÉ’s Republic of Telly, Bernard O’Shea is bringing his unique brand of bizzare and hysterical stand-up comedy to The Source Arts Centre Thurles.
He has been described as a fizzing, iridescent ball of sheer energy, a fast talkin’ fast thinking comedian who invigorates a room with his presence. Left -field, imaginative but never up its rear, Bernard’s freewheeling comedy is endlessly delightful, with some fabulous impromptu raging that reminds you just how extraordinary stand-up can be and his dry witty songs bookend his show nicely. He is one of a kind quite possibly nuts; but one of a kind nonetheless. Join us for a night of unpredictable laugh out loud comedy from the latest phenomenon on the Irish comedy circuit.
