North Tipp Macra
Newport Macra hosted the annual Know Your Ag competition on 27th September and it was a great night. The President of Macra na Feirme Kieran O`Dowd and Munster Vice-President James Healy were in attendance. A national fundraising initiative is taking place and Macra na Feirme will be going to the Dogs onNovember 30th. North Tipp Macra have chosen Galway as their venue where they will be joined by many neighbouring county clubs.

The Devilsbit Club has been awarded North Tipperary Club of the Year 2013. The Chairman Joe

McGrath was delighted with the turnout at the meeting and he said “looking forward to the great year ahead for the club”.There were several teams from Devilsbit participating in the Ag Table Quiz. Paudie Meade, Joe McGrath, Jane O` Dwyer and Margaret Stanley were on the winning team and they will represent North Tipp at the Final in Carlow at the rally.During the week numerous members attended an interesting Cap meeting in Gurteen.
Next weekend Devilsbit Club will travel to Limerick on the 5th of October to go bowling and attend the Macravision.The club`s football team will be competing at the All Ireland`s Finals seven a side GAA football and we are hoping for a good turnout of supporters at this event.
Nenagh Macra
Nenagh Macra were in strong attendance at the Know Your Ag quiz in Newport. The next club meeting will be held in Una Powells on Friday October 11th.
