STARCAMP Summer camp Children to release CharitySingle!
Has your little one ever dreamed of being heard on the radio? Well this could be their big chance, as one child will be selected from each summer camp nationwide to record what is sure to be a big hit!
Most of you will be familiar with STARCAMP, not only because it has been running award- winning Summer camps nationwide for the past seven years, but because owner Aideen O’Grady was successful in luring the attention of a number of Dragons in the current series of DRAGON’S DEN. She has since been invited to be a regular panellist on TV3’s Midday Show.
STARCAMP will be running their award-winning performing Summer camps in almost one hundred locations across Ireland this Summer including one on your door-step, with locations in Cahir, Nenagh, Roscrea, Templemore, Thurles, Cashel & Tipp Town. The camps are aimed at ALL boys and girls aged 4 – 13 years and will run for one week ( 9:30 – 2:30pm daily) with the children putting on a little show at the end of the week for proud families to come and enjoy. The core ethos is about building self-esteem and confidence in children in a non-competitive environment, and is open to children with all levels of ability.
“Along with our energetic, carefully selected songs, dances, games and acting scenes, we have a very exciting opportunity open to all Starcampers this year. Every child who attends the renowned and affordable Starcamp this summer will be in with a great chance to perform on a single that will be recorded. This song will then be issued for release shortly afterwards. There will be one lucky child selected from each of our summer camps nationwide. These children will be given a unique and exciting opportunity of recording this ‘Song for Charity’ in a recording studio. We are confident this will be a huge hit. The children will not be chosen solely on their vocal ability, but on their efforts and overall contribution to the camp.” Aideen explained.
“Being on Dragon’s Den was an absolutely fantastic business decision and wonderful opportunity” explains Aideen, who did something that was never achieved in the Irish Den previously. She went in offering to give away 10% of her company and expected to have to give away more, but due to the dragon’s haggling for part of her business – she only had to part with 5%.
STARCAMP has been runningaward-winning summer camps for all boys and girls aged 4 – 13 throughout Ireland since 2007. Earlier this year STARCAMP PARTIES were launched. The demand is so strong we keep having to hire new party hosts! Starcamp parties are a brand new concept in children’s parties for kids of all ages. These eagerly anticipated parties offer vibrant, new and very exciting themes like The Starcamp Red Carpet Event, Pyjama Drama, Rockstar Party, The Wild West and The Royal Ball. The brand new website is also home to a new shop and a very interesting franchise section. We come along to your house and simply transform it into something magical, taking on board the theme selected. Once we arrive, parents can simply ‘switch off’ and leave it to us.
Until this year, Starcamp was like a one man band but with lots of contributors and free help. Now there are 5 full time staff in their new office, 10 party hosts and approximately 60 part timers and contributors. If you feel that you have something to offer Starcamp, get in touch with them.
