A Short Course in Home Energy Management and Thermal Insulation Installation

This weekend course is based on level 5 FETAC programmes in energy management and insulation. The course covers concepts from Energy Management in Domestic Buildings and Thermal Insulation Installation.
Interested Participants have the option of doing an extra day to full FETAC certification.
Who is the course aimed at:
Individuals or community groups who have an interest in energy efficiency upgrades for their own or local projects. Tradespeople who may be considering work or upskilling in this area.
Programme Outline:
Friday, November 23rd
3 hour session – 5-8 pm or 6-9 pm: The fundamentals of energy and usage in Ireland
Saturday, November 24th
Full day session (10 am-4 pm): Hands on workshop
Sunday, November 25th
Afternoon session (1-4 pm): Specific types of heating and hot water systems available in Ireland
