Antonia O’Keeffee Art Exhibition Launch in Cloughjordan
The public launch of the Sheelagh na Gig winter art exhibition takes place
Tuesday, 4 December at 7pm in Sheelagh na Gig bookshop in Cloughjordan. All
are welcome.
This solo exhibition features the work of Cloughjordan-based artist Antonia
O’Keeffe. A 2006 graduate of Crawford College of Art in Cork, Antonia
O’Keeffe currently makes small paper-based collages using recycled materials
that feature landscapes and birds. She also paints larger layered works in
oil on board.
Antonia has exhibited both in Cork and Cloughjordan and has a number of
pieces in private collections. All works in the exhibition are for sale, and
the exhibition runs until the end of January.
Sheelagh na Gig bookshop in Cloughjordan hosts a number of solo artist
exhibitions every year. The shop is open Wed-Thu 10.30am-5.30pm, Fri-Sat
10am-6pm and Sun 1pm-6pm.
