A very special night with Julie Feeney and Cashel Community School Choir at The Source Thurles

There isn’t an artist quite like Julie Feeney at work in Ireland today. Julie is a multi award winning singer-composer and is about to release her third album Clocks on the 16 November in The Source Arts Centre. Her music has been described as eccentric grounded and vulnerable. She is unquestionably original. As part of a nationwide tour Julie will perform with ten different choirs in ten different towns across Ireland. The Source Arts Centre is delighted to have Julie perform on stage the night of her album launch, as are Cashel Community School Choir who will be performing with her. She has arranged unique choral scores for ten of her songs, and each choir will perform a selection from: ‘Love is a Tricky Thing’, ‘Impossibly Beautiful’, and ‘Grace’ amongst others.

Previously Julie worked full-time as a professional choral singer and performed and recorded around the world with numerous choirs including the National Chamber Choir of Ireland, Anuna, Riverdance and the BBC singers. It is yet to be revealed how the choir will form part of the show, but if you join us on the night you will find out! This promises to be a very novel and beautiful event, definitely one to mark in the diary. The tour is commissioned by Strollers Touring Network in partnership with Julie’s record label, Mittens. The Source Arts Centre is a member of Strollers Touring Network.
