Scullion at The Source Arts Centre

Scullion has recorded a new collection of songs and to celebrate the band will be embarking this Autumn on their most extensive national tour for many years. The tour will follow the launch of their new album ‘Long Wave’ at Triskel Christchurch in Cork on the 27^th of September.

This amazing group of musicians, Sonny Condell, Robbie Overson and Philip King remain true to their eclectic musical roots, they are nourished by tradition, translate and deconstruct it, and transmit an individual musical experience for capacity audiences whenever they choose to perform. The Album is their first in over 20 years, and includes a new version of Philip King’s ‘Fear’ and an instrumental by Robbie Overson, among other new tracks.

The music and songs of Sonny Condell are the foundation of the unique Scullion sound. His artistry is the creative beating heart of the trio, a trio that makes a mighty sound. This special evening at The Source Arts Centre on Saturday 17^th November will celebrate that sound. An intimate, warm and uplifting night not to be missed, advance booking advised.

Tickets priced €20 will go on sale from Thursday 9^th August.
