Tipperary Gardens To Appear on RTE Television

Three Tipperary gardens will feature on RTE 1’s Nationwide programme at 7pm on Friday 6th July.  Curraquill Garden in Dromineer, Rathurles Garden in Nenagh and Fancroft Mill and Gardens in Roscrea were filmed for a special episode dedicated to gardening.  Bellefield Garden in Offaly’s Shinrone will also appear in the programme.  All of the gardens are open to visitors (see www.LoughDergGardens.com for times) and form part of the Lough Derg Garden Trail

Other gardens on the Lough Derg Garden Trail include the gardens at Knappogue Castle in Quin and Portumna Castle, Woodland Cottage Garden in Birr and Castletown Glebe Garden in Portroe, which was recently profiled in the Sunday Times.  Free copies of the printed guide for the Lough Derg Garden Trail are available from Nenagh Tourist Office and Nenagh Heritage Centre or by emailing info@loughderggardens.com
