Is your enterprise the one to represent North Tipperary?

The County & City National Enterprise Awards will be held in the Mansion House, Dublin in November with the winner announced at a black-tie gala dinner.  The Competition was introduced in 1997 by the network of County & City Enterprise Boards to recognise the contribution made by small firms to the Irish economy.

Tipperary North County Enterprise Board is now inviting its clients to enter the National Enterprise Awards competition. Entrants must be clients (grant beneficiaries) of the Tipperary North CEB.  Past winners in North Tipperary include Crossogue Preserves, Digino Marketing,  Cooleeney Cheese, Brenwood Products and  last year, Lyncare Systems Limited.

Each County & City Enterprise Board throughout the country will nominate a County winner to go forward to the National Final which takes place on Wednesday, 21st November 2012 in the Mansion House.  The National Winner will receive a cash prize €5,000 in addition to a commissioned piece by Roscommon based Designer & Maker Kate Oram.  The County competition carries a prize fund of over €2,000  plus awards and four cash prizes  will be presented locally as follows:
Overall Winner: €1,000
Runner Up: €300
Best New Business:  €500
Special Category:  €300
Finalists will be judged on areas such as their business plans, marketing strategy, finance, the use of technology and innovation in the business, in addition to the entrepreneurial skills of the business owner. The County winners will receive valuable PR in the local media and the overall winner will be profiled in the national event brochure and regional/ national media in the run up to the competition.
