Clonoulty Rossmore Vintage Club had a very successful fun run
Clonoulty Rossmore Vintage Club had a very successful fun run on Sunday the 14th July as can be seen by these photographs, even the weather held up. Every mode of transport was catered for, walking, running, cycling and driving. Great fun was had by young and old. The presence of our 3 local County GAA stars Timothy Hammersley, John O’Neill and John O’Keefe (see picture) added a touch of glamour and prestige to the day. Everyone had a good appetite worked up for the BBQ afterwards, which proved a very popular social gathering for all members of the community.
Plans are well under way for our Annual Rally which will be held on Sunday the 19th August in Clonoulty Village. Yes we will be clashing with the All Ireland Hurling Semi Final, but don’t let that worry anyone as we intend to broadcast the match live in the field. The Tipp FM Roadcaster will be on site on the day until 2pm, get your requests ready!
This year we are having a variety of craft and trade stands, if anyone is interested in having a stand please check out our website for the traders application form on www.clonoultyrossmorevintage.com or contact any committee member as all trade stands must be booked in advance.
A family fun day is guaranteed with the numerous side-shows including bouncy castle, guess the weight of the bullocks and many more entertaining activities. There will be a catering marquee, chip van and ice cream catering for all tastes.
Also we will be looking for donations of toys, books, jewellery and handbags for sale on our stand if you have any available please contact Mary Hennessy @ 087-8200208.
We are also having a patrons list in our brochure again this year if you are interested, a donation of €10.00 is required to get you name included and can be given to any committee member. If anyone is available to help on the day it would be greatly appreciated if they let us know in advance.
We would like to thank everyone for their continued support and look forward to seeing you all on the 19th August.
