Waterford travelled to Templemore for the last round of the league with one eye on a league semi-final spot. Tipperary were fighting to retain their Div. 2 status for 2013. The visitors proved to be much sharper in front of goals. Tipperary had their fair share of position but were unable to convert it into scores. Final score Tipperary 1-10 Waterford 2-15. After the game Co Chairman Tommy Campbell thanked the players and management for their efforts in the league. Tipperary must now regroup and prepare for the first round of Munster Intermediate championship against Kerry on June 9th.
