Next Silent Film Festival Meeting is Announced
The next public meeting of the Nenagh Silent Film Festival Committee will take place this coming Friday, March 30th, at the Hibernian Inn at 8pm. This meeting will focus on the initiative’s forthcoming premiere screening of The Artist in the Nenagh Ormond Cinema, as well future events of which the NSFF will be hosting locally.
The silent film The Artist was a recent winner of several Academy Awards and its success shows how much Silent Film is in vogue. This special screening of The Artist will be a fund-raiser in support of the NSFF and will involve a black and white dress code, glass of wine, special screening and a fun night out. Final details are to be announced within days in local media, on the new Nenagh Silent Film Festival website and on the NSFF Facebook page.
