Gaming Fanatics are in for a treat at The Source Arts Centre Thurles

The Source Arts Centre is delighted to host another computer games collaboration with LIT Tipperary. Following on from the recent Games Fleadh, the largest digital programming festival in the country which took place on 14th & 15th March at LIT Tipperary, Games Fleadh Evolved gives you the chance to play test games created by the students and also watch individual players compete on the big screen at The Source.

Following Games Fleadh Evolved at 6pm is Game On / Re-newing Media Art, a curated programme of both Irish and International artists’ film and video works from The Lewis Glucksman Gallery, Cork. Introduced by curator Chris Clarke, Curator of Education and Collections at the Lewis Glucksman Gallery, Game On explores the ways in which contemporary artists appropriate and manipulate online materials and widely-available software.
