Aslan celebrate thirty years at Nenagh Arts Centre

Celebrating three decades in the music business this year, Aslan play Nenagh Arts Centre on Saturday 31st March.

The band emerged from Dublin’s northside, in the mid 1980’s. Their debut single, ‘This Is’, released in 1986 was a huge hit and became the longest ever play-listed single on RTÉ 2fm. With albums such as ‘Feel No Shame’ and ‘Uncased’ and searing live performances, the group has maintained an iconic presence on the Irish music scene. The band are currently gearing up for the release of their brand new studio album on EMI Records this year. Entitled ‘Nudie Books and Frenchies’, the album title is a tongue-in-cheek, nostalgic nod to their teenage years.

Celebrating recently on the Late Late Show, Aslan announced a summer gig in Tallaght Stadium. The concert in Nenagh Arts Centre is a great opportunity to see them in intimate surrounding and at full flight. Unique Financial Services in Benedine, Nenagh are the concert sponsors.

Doors are open at 8p.m. with the concert on at 9 p.m. Tickets are priced at €20 and are available from the Arts Centre in the old Town Hall in Banba Square on 067 34400 or online at
