Charity gig in Au Bars Limerick, for sick and orphan children; This Friday!
This Friday night, Feb 17th, Au bars on Thomas Street is the place to be.
Local musicians are coming together to raise funds for charity. Singer/songwriter Yvonne McCarthy who is supporting the charity Children in hospital Ireland, (The Limerick Branch),click here
Hermitage Green, A brilliant Limerick band will be playing on the night and supporting the cause
Along with Trad/Folk/Rock group Acoustra who will be performing also.
Yvonne is going to step into her role as Amy Winehouse and do a selection of Amy’s top hits. This is not to be missed; Yvonne does a fantastic job on the tribute.
Acoustra are supporting the orphan children of Azerbaijan charity.
They have been going there for the past few years to help improve standards.
The gig kicks off at 10pm.There is an entry charge of 5 euro but a free drink coupon will be given in return. Free finger food will be available throughout the night and there is going to be a raffle with some excellent spot prizes, including dinner vouchers for one of Limerick’s best restaurants.
Everyone is encouraged to come on in and show some support.
It is going to be a great night of good fun, brilliant music, and also every bit of money raised will make a huge difference in the children’s lives.
