Morris welcomes works for Puckane and Dromineer

I would like to welcome the proposal to dedicate 29,000 euros of Communtiy Sport and Cultural grants towards the playground in Dromineer. I have called for the upgrading of this playground which is a very well used facility and North Tipp county council has also promised to cover the cost of the necessary groundworks  North Tipperary county council have said also proposed to finding a better place for the bottle bank which is causing concern because of its proximity to the playground. We have also gone a step further towards getting control of the shoreline which was caught up in arbitration. Dromineer has the potential to be the jewel in the crown of North Tipperary tourism and I am proud of my efforts for Dromineer since I was elected to North Tipperary County Council.

I would also like to welcome the much needed works on the footpaths in Ballycraggan Estate in Puckane and the general improvement work in the village some of which I paid for from my Council funding. I will also state that I am dedicated to finishing more much needed work in Ballycraggan Estate which has been ignored for too long. I also want to welcome the correspondence between North Tipperary County Council and Waterways Ireland which I initiated over the state of the local amenities in Luska and Skehana. I have at all times put the people of Nenagh Borrisokane to the foremost of my thoughts since I was elected to represent them.

Yours sincerely Cllr. Séamie Morris 10/01/12
