Waterford Airport Scores First in Ireland with Mobile Website
Waterford Airport are the first Airport in Ireland to launch a mobile website with live flight information, the innovative development was created by Waterford based company Cquent Ltd..
The mobile website allows passengers with a smartphone to check live flight arrival and departure information, along with timetable and Airport contact details whilst they are on the go.
Commenting the launch, Waterford Airport CEO, Graham Doyle said “As an increasing number of travellers are using their smartphones to access our website, we wanted to give them the best experience. The mobile version of our website is specifically tailored to the needs of passengers with live flight information – so checking on your flight status while on the move is easy.”
Kim Leahy, Technical Director at Cquent Ltd, was delighted with the launch: “We worked closely with Waterford Airport to develop a system which centred on ease-of-use and efficiency for the airport. “ He went on to say ”We see a mobile presence as absolutely essential for businesses to offer better services to customers and promote their brand.”
