Film ~ Short Film Premiere, by Media Arts Students at DIT Aungier St.  A ghost story, filmed in Dromineer, written and directed by George Hooker, Produced by Sorcha MacKenna, Saturday afternoon October 1, 3-4pm, Lough Derg Yacht Club, Adm Free

Film/Talk ~ ‘Hands’ Boatbuilder, David Shaw-Smith will give a talk on his landmark documentary series with guest Jimmy Furey. Saturday  October 1, 4-5.30pm, Lough Derg Yacht Club, Dromineer, Adm €5

Afloat on Lough Derg ~ The Living Lake, a talk by scientists Rick Boelens & Dan Minchin on board the passenger vessel The Spirit of Killaloe. Sunday afternoon 3 -5pm from the public harbour in Dromineer. Adm €12/€10 (NB Booking is essential as places are strictly limited).

Festival Exhibition ~ Craft to Art, will feature violins by Luthier Reggie Goodbody, rushwork by Gerardine Wisdom, Bog Oak Sculptures by Dick Gough, swatches of wool and tweed as well as weaving tools from the Hanly Woollen Mills Museum, quilts by local quilt makers and samples of work by a bookbinder.
