Tipperary North County Enterprise Board seeks entries for the National Enterprise Awards

The County & City National Enterprise Awards will be held in Dublin Castle in November.  All County and City Enterprise Boards may put forward their County Winner to compete at the National event.  The Competition was introduced in 1997 to recognise the contribution made by small firms to the Irish economy.  Past winners include Crossogue Preserves, Digino Marketing, Cooleeney Cheese, Brenwood Products etc.

Competition entrants must be current clients of the CEB who employ ten (10) or less staff.  Previous winners and beneficiaries of grants from other sources are not eligible to compete.  The North Tipperary winner must be identified and put forward to compete nationally by the end of September and consequently a closing date for receipt of entries has been set at Friday 16th September.

Eight finalists nationally will be selected by an independent panel of adjudicators and from within the eight finalists (who will all receive €1,000 prize money), the panel of adjudicators may also select:

  1. The Overall Winner (to receive €2,500)
  2. The Best Export Business and (to receive €1,000)
  3. The Best Start up Business (5 years or less) (to receive €1,000)
