Stars Night in Cappawhite
The 21st of July promises to be a very special night in Cappawhite’s Resource Centre, where some of Irelands top entertainers will gather for an event to raise much needed funds for the Cappawhite Day Care Centre.
International stars Crystal Swing will be joined by Tipperary’s own Louise Morrissey.
Philomena Begley one of Irelands Legends in Country Music will make the journey from the County Tyrone to be part of this very special occasion. Also on the night we will have the pleasure of the company of John Hogan from the Midlands one of the Kings of country and Irish music and local duet Morrissey and Daniels who recently had great success with their song “Enjoy Yourself”.
One of the Biggest names from the Show band Era will also be on stage on the night, the great Shaun O’ Dowd and not forgetting The Willoughby Brothers from County Wexford, who are six brothers currently on the brink of international success.
This will undoubtedly be one of, if not, the biggest nights of entertainment ever to take place in Cappawhite.
Host and Compare for the evening will be another Tipperary great, Fran Curry from TippFM. Highly impressed with the line up Fran say’s he can’t wait for the 21st to come around!
Cappawhite Day Care Centre for the Elderly services a large span, with a bus servicing areas including Annacarty, Donohill, Donaskeigh, Dundrum, Hollyford, Kilcommon, Rearcross, Doon, Oola and the parish of Cappawhite. Open three days a week it offers a social outlet for people to gather in a friendly and caring environment. Full dinner is provided everyday and there are lots of activities to part take in from card playing and bingo to art crafts and computers. There’s something at the centre to interest everyone.
