One Drunk Night at The Source
There will be high jinks and shenanigans going on at The Source Arts Centre this Saturday, 30th July when an incredibly talented group of local young people take over the Thurles venue with an evening of comedy and music that is simply not to be missed.
The brainchild of Ballingarry’s Darren Jenkins, the show follows the adventures of a group of different people who use the local village hall for a variety of purposes. Be prepared to meet the caretakers, builders, politicians, farmers and of course, the local Garda in a series of adventures that will have your sides splitting with laughter. There are characters in here that everyone will identify with. A good tune is never far away and the music is aptly provided by young local musicians such as Jamie Strapp, Conor O’Mahony and singer Jane Prendergast.
This show is storytelling at it’s best. It mixes stand up comedy with comic sketches and music and song in a unique way. Hats off to this group of young people for pooling their talents to create a wonderful night’s entertainment.
One Drunk Night is at The Source Arts Centre on Saturday 30th July at 8.00pm. Tickets €15 / €10 concession.
