Moycarkey Coolcroo A.C. Club Notes 25th July 2011
Well done to the following athletes who competed for Club & County at Day 3 & Day 4 of the National Championships in Tullamore:-
Day 3, Saturday 23rd July – Ciara Mockler who came 6th in the Girls U/15 Shot Putt with a throw of 9.96m.
Day 4, Sunday 24th July – Daniel & David Ryan who ran for Tipperary in the Boys U/13 4 x 100m Relay at the National Inter-County Relays & whose team came home 5th in a time of 55.58.
David & Jack Ryan, Jack Fallon & Oran Mulhall who represented the Club in the Boys U/12 4 x 100m Relay at the National Inter-Club Relays placing 5th in the final in a time of 56.57.
A Club Meeting will be held on Tuesday 2nd August at 8.30pm in the Community Hall, Two Mile Borris. Meeting will be to organise our upcoming road race.
Our Annual Road Race (7km for Ladies & Men & 3km Fit4Life) will be held on Friday 26th August starting at 7.30pm. Registration from 6.30pm onwards in the Community Hall, Two Mile Borris. Entry fee is €10 & spot prizes galore on the night.
