Aonach ar Siul, Nenagh Walking Club
On Sunday 17th July our walk is a three hour moderate cicular trek on part of the east Clare Way to Bohatch Bog with its Wedge Tomb and gravil pit which offers an insight into Bohatch as it was 10,000 years ago after the ice age and before the bog was formed. Walk leader Willie Keane promises a walk with fabulous views from Ardeevin out over Lough Derg.
After the walk we are going for a meal to The Half Barrel in Whitegate at 4pm. Please note indication on numbers who hope to dine will be required by Thursday 14th July
Meet at Kenyon Street car park at 11am,Goosers Ballina at 11.30am,Mountshannon Pier at 12.15. Walk will start about five minutes drive from the pier.
