ISPCC Charity Cycle UL, Killaloe, Clare Glens, UL, Safety Announcment

A 70Km charity cycle from UL to Killaloe and Clare Glens and back again will take place this Sunday 26th June at 10am in aid of the ISPCC mentoring services in Limerick.

The cycle will start from the University of Limerick, and will continue along towards Killaloe and back through Newport and then onto Clare Glens where cyclists can stop for a well deserved rest and light refreshments.  Cyclists will then continue along towards the beautiful Glenstal Abbey, before making the return journey back to University of Limerick.

This ISPCC charity cycle is not a race; people of all levels of fitness can take part in what promises to be a great positive day out which will help countless children and young people in the local community.

There is a registration fee of €40 which includes a mini bike service, cycling jersey and food stops along the way.

The ISPCC receives less than 10% government funding and therefore relies on the support of individuals and companies to help us continue our work with children and young people across Ireland.  Participants are encouraged to raise additional funds through sponsorship and everyone who returns more than €200 by the 8th July will be entered into a draw to win a trip to see the final of the Tour de France in Paris.
