Well done to Siobhan Hennessy who took part in the Woodies DIY AAI Juvenile Indoor Championships in Nenagh Indoor Stadium on Saturday last, 2nd April. Siobhan competed very well for Club, County & Province in the Girls U/17 1500m Walk when she finished 5th in a time of 8.35.90mins.
The Tipperary Community Games Cross Country Finals took place in Thurles Crokes A.C. grounds on Thursday last, 31st March. Well done to the following athletes who all qualified to represent Tipperary at the Community Games National Finals in Athlone in May:- Jack Fallon 1st & Declan Ryan 5th in the Boys U/12 600m, Eimear Ryan 2nd in Girls U/12 600m & Kieren Hennessy 1st in Boys U/14 600m.
The Moycarkey, Moyne, Slieveardagh Track & Field Challenge will take place on Sunday 10th April. More details will be given at training this week.
Training for the Indoor Season continues every Monday evening from 7.45pm to 8.45pm & every Thursday evening from 7.30pm to 8.30pm in Templemore Track. Cost is €2.00 per athlete. New members & help are always welcome.
