County Tipperary Community Games News

Below is a list of all upcoming Community Games County Finals:-

Friday 4^th March – County Quiz Final in Presentation Secondary School Hall, Thurles at 7.30pm.

Saturday 5^th March – County Finals of the Indoor Soccer in Templemore at 5pm.

Saturday 12^th March – County Art & Model Making Finals in the Parish Hall, Silvermines at 12 noon. All entries to Kathleen England by Friday 4^th March.

Saturday 2^nd April – County Projects Final in Dunkerrin Hall. 6pm start for setting up projects followed by judging at 7.30pm.

Saturday 2^nd April – County Handwriting Final in Dunkerrin Hall from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

Sunday 3^rd April – County Cross Country Finals in Thurles Crokes Complex at 2pm.

Saturday 9^th April – County Talent Finals in Lattin GAA Centre at 5.30pm. All entries to Joan Hogan, Busherstown, Moneygall by 1^st April.

Monday 2^nd May – County Gymnastics Finals in Moyle Rovers GAA Complex, Lisronagh. All entries to Martin O’Keefe, Cappauanic, Bansha, Co. Tipperary by 22^nd April.

Saturday 7^th & Sunday 8^th May – County Swimming Finals in Clonmel at 3pm. All entries to Tom O’Ceallaigh, 7 Auburn Square, Cashel Road, Clonmel by 22^nd April.

Sunday 26^th June – County Athletics Finals in Templemore Track. Parade at 11.30am followed by 12 noon start. Closing date for entries to Kathleen England is Friday 3^rd June.

The fees for all events are €2 per event for each individual & €6 per team. Entries for the Quiz & Cross Country are on the day. The Panel Sheets for all of the above events can be down loaded from our website at www.tipperarycommunitygames.com or www.communitygames.ie. All team managers please note the following: all Birth Certificates for team competitions must be with the Games Secretaries Willie Jones (North) & Declan O’Shea (South) on the day of the County Final. For individual events, all Birth Certificates & ID Photos must be with Kathleen England immediately after the competition. If Birth Certificates are not available within 10 days then the place will be offered to the next available individual.

All Area Secretaries please note that the Preliminary Team Sheets for Summer Games are posted on our website at www.tipperarycommunitygames.com & should be sent to our County Secretary, Kathleen England immediately. All Team fees (6 euro per team) are to be sent to our Treasurer, Pauline Martin O’ Rourke at Cluain Ard, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary. A Programme & Contact List will be available as soon as the Team Draws take place.
