Nuffield Ireland Announces Spring 2011 Conference in Tipperary

Nuffield Farming Scholarship Trust Ireland (Nuffield Ireland) is holding a Spring 2011 Nuffield Conference at the Horse and Jockey Hotel in Tipperary on Wednesday 2nd Feb next.

The Guest Speaker is Jim Bergin CEO of Glanbia Ingredients.

Irish and UK scholars will deliver presentations covering a wide range of topics namely, Carbon Sequestration, Energy from Agriculture, Algae as a source of alternative energy, Farm succession, The future of  the thoroughbred in Sporthorse breeding, Maximising the grazing platform, and The role of Dairy Futures markets in the EU Dairy Industry.

According to Derek Mc Cabe Chairman of Nuffield Ireland the event promises to be thought provoking and informative, delivering globally up to date research findings from the farming world.
