Paddy Kennedy, Phillip Looby and Michael Cantwell caught the eye in the first half with some good scores. At half time the home side were ahead by 4 points, 1-10 to 0-9. Drom-Inch would have hoped to continue on from where they left off in the first half and they started brightly with scores from Michael Cantwell and Paddy Kennedy. However this was to be their last score for a long period as Holycross took control and scored goals through Rob Stakelum (2) and the impressive James Dunne which gave them the upper hand and a comfortable victory in the end by 12 points.
