Ulster Bank in which clubs were invited to submit the ideas for upgrading their facilities over the Autumn Bank Holiday. Proud winners in the Munster region and recipients of a €5,000 cheque were Lattin Cullen GAA of Co Tipperary; Siobhan O’Donnell who was a major force behind the clubs bid was overjoyed to hear the good news earlier this month  saying “We thought it was a joke at first but now the reality has sunk in we are absolutely thrilled with the news” Siobhan also points out that the result was very much due to the team efforts of the ladies Juvenile Committee who had prepared the photographs and plans which included improvements to the meeting areas, kitchen and toilets, upgrades that can be enjoyed not only by the GAA players but also other groups within the area catering for Irish dancing, card playing and many other community functions.

To celebrate the win Michael Ryan, business development manager of Ulster Bank, Thurles and Susan Madden of their Dooradoyle branch visited the club to present the cheque before the building work began in earnest. Both Michael and Susan were given a tour of the clubhouse and expressed their delight in the fact that the money was going to such worthy winners, they also

Siobhan Carew and Siobhan O’Donnell would like to express their gratitude to those who have already helped with the modifications and stress that so much more  can be achieved with this boost to the funds.
