Furthermore, any school which receives funding for car parking and play areas will be allowed to apply for specialist electric ducting under play and car parking areas in order to ensure schools are future proofed for electric vehicle charging points.

All schools approved for the 2020 Summer Works Scheme will be notified by the Department with further details on the list of works approved and the amount of funding received.

This funding will be hugely beneficial for the schools announced and the monies will make it possible to complete a variety of works with great value to local communities.
