Five Tipperary clubs take part in Aviva Mini Rugby Provincial Festival
Last Sunday saw the Aviva Mini Rugby Provincial Festivals get underway at UL Bohemian RFC in Limerick, with a fantastic festival featuring 30 Under-10 boys and Under-12 girls teams.
Over 600 young players from across Munster and beyond were #SafeToDream with the opportunity to play rugby and learn new skills in a fun environment. Tipperary clubs Cashel, Clonmel, Newport, Nenagh Ormond and Fethard were present on the day.
The Minis season will continue over the coming weeks as the 2019 Aviva Mini Rugby Provincial Festivals continue to take place throughout the country. Giving both girls’ U12s and boys’ U10s teams the chance to develop as players at grassroots level, the festivals provide a safe and fun environment to nurture their skills while rugby fever grips the nation with the Irish Rugby team in Japan.
