Farm Succession Seminar for Nenagh 1st October

The North Tipperary based New Futures Farming Group will host a major seminar on Farm Succession this autumn.  This is a topic relevant to all farmers irrespectable of farm size and farm family structure.  The seminar will cover such topics as wills, gradual transfers, partnerships and collaborative farming.  All legal and taxation issues will be covered.  The speakers at the event will be Paidi Kelly, Irish Famers’ Journal who will outline the various options of farm succession,  Seamus Quigley, Dairy Farmer who will cover the practical aspects of farm partnerships and Aisling Meehan, weekly columnist of the Irish Farmers’ Journal and Agricultural Solicitor who cover the legal and taxation issues relevant to succession.

This is the 2nd Annual Seminar hosted by the New Futures Farming Group following on from the successful seminar on coping with challenges and isolation which was held last October and which earned the group the Irish Rural Link Award 2014.

This year’s seminar will take place in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh on Wednesday 1st October commencing at 7.45pm.
