Following the success of last year’s Golf Classic, the Friends of Tipperary Football will be running this year’s Classic using the same format of a qualifier in each of the 4 Divisions with 2 teams from each venue qualifying for the Grand Final.  Dates have not been fully finalised, but the Classic will be played in July/August.  The competition is for teams of 4 and the entry fee will be €120 per team.  Details will be forwarded shortly to all clubs and it is hoped that the response will be as good or better than last year.   Further details will also appear in GAA Scene in the coming weeks. This is a great opportunity to participate in a novel competition and to support Tipperary football.

Dedicated GAA supporters will be able to wear their county colours close to their hearts as well as on their sleeves following the recent launch of a new jewellery collection. A percentage of sales will go directly back to each county board under the manufacturer’s exclusive deal with the GAA. The unique pieces are available through top jewellery retailers nationwide and online at www.gaajewellery.com. It is the first ever official GAA county jewellery range and is perfectly timed for an exciting new Championship season and Fathers’ Day next month. A key inspiration behind the development of the exciting ‘Love Your County’ collection has been to provide GAA members and supporters with a chic and alternative way to demonstrate allegiance to their county. Prices start from €25 – €35 for Sterling Silver charms, €29 – €79 for Stainless Steel and Sterling Silver Pendants, €25 for leather and stainless steel wristwear and €29 for cufflinks.
